Caring Ministry

Our Caring Ministries include a number of programs of care and support to our church family and beyond.  These include:

Care Classes – classes, workshops and seminars on a variety of caring topics.

Card Ministry – sending cards to members & visitors.

College Cares – sending notes & packages to our college young people.

Communion Servers – taking the consecrated elements to members unable to attend church.

Congregational Care Ministry – trained lay Congregational Care Ministers who are assigned member households within the congregation providing comfort & compassionate care.

Meal Ministry – – to provide a bereavement meal following a funeral or meals & prayer requested short term (1week) to church members.

Military Ministry – supporting loved ones in the military from our church family/all of who serve in the military through our partnership with Military Ministry a division of Campus Crusade for Christ.

Recovery Ministry – Recovery Anonymous is offered several days a week at the church.

“Re Member” Ministry – provides amazing opportunities to re-member those who are unable to actively take part in church worship and activities through visitation & prayer.

Stephen Ministry – one-on-one caring by  trained lay care givers.

Prayer Ministry – prayer for members of our church family, community & world.

Prayer Shawl Ministry – knitted or crocheted prayer shawls/stoles for members of our church family who are ill, suffered a loss, in crisis or for the birth of a new baby.
